This itinerary starts in the Aberdares Range followed by Samburu, home to unique wildlife in Kenya. Overnight at the deluxe Ashnil Samburu Camp, along the shady riverbank. The Safari route takes you to Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. Around Lake Nakuru, a game reserve has been created where the endangered black rhino is protected. Finally, the Masai Mara, famed for the migration and big cats. Here you stay in the luxury Ashnil Mara Camp, close to the action during the annual wildebeest migration.
Day1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning depart Nairobi and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery en-route. Arriving on time for lunch with a short game drive and check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred due to its Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Check in at Mara Sopa and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals.
Day 1: Nairobi and Lake Nakuru
Our driver/guide will pick you from the place of your choice within Nairobi at about 0800hrs. Our journey to Lake Nakuru will cut across the Great Rift Valley, with Mt Longonot in the background. You will also see the enchanting Lake Naivasha, the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes.
We will arrive in time for lunch at the Merica Hotel in Lake Nakuru National park. After lunch, we will set out for an afternoon game viewing drive. The park is renown to be a bird watchers’ paradise due to the numerous populations of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore.
